Traveling is my life but it seems like I’ve lived two. One pre traveling where my life was going nowhere, stuck in a rut, wanting more from it but not knowing how. All I dreamt about was traveling but I was too poor for that. I couldn’t even afford a bus ticket how could I go traveling? However in 2010 Something just triggered inside me. With just £600 to my name I left England and started my nomadic life, bought a one ticket to Australia and haven’t looked back since. (Check out the timeline at the bottom of this page)
Somehow I made a dream into a reality. And I want to show you how you can do the same!
Without a doubt, starting and continuing a nomadic life will change your life in more ways than you can imagine. It changes your perspective on life, what’s important and not, how you perceive other people and cultures and it will change your own character. You will experience the most incredible experiences, have defying moments, meet inspiring people be left in awe to what this earth we live on provides us. But, It’s not for everybody.
Hand in hand with the highs and incredible moments come the lows and hardships. Over the years I’ve come across first time backpackers who set out on long-term travel but are completely oblivious to what they’re getting themselves into. In some cases It’s not their fault, they were just shown the shiny glamorous side of travel, but nothing under the veil.
