Useful travel resources
There is so much information floating out there on the internet
The internet seems to grow by the second, more and more information is pumped into it and for us travelers there is definitely no shortage with all the articles, blogs, and travel publications out there. However, with so much information to choose from where do you start? How do you know if it’s useful or still relevant?
Search a travel term into google right now, It’s ok, I’ll wait…
Ok, so I’m guessing pages upon pages of results came back but how many of those pages were relevant to solo/budget travel, or more to the case, how many were relevant to you?
Needle in a haystack
Sometimes finding useful travel resources can leave you scratching your head, or give you the urge to throw your laptop at the wall. I know this because I’ve been there.
Back in 2010 when I first packed my bags, I was a novice budget traveler, I had no idea where to start looking nor did I know what information was actually relevant to me. It was only after I started the traveling life that I found out the information I had been fed was outdated and irrelevant.
Novice turned seasoned solo budget traveler
However, 2010 was a long time ago and I can now count myself as a seasoned solo and budget traveler. Over the years I’ve come across thousands of resources and been able to funnel out the irrelevant and useless information.
What I do have now is extensive knowledge of websites, apps, tools, personal experience which I will share with you to make your traveling life easier. These resources will help you before and during your travels. There are live tools which you can use directly, websites available on one page and categorized to save you time and so you don’t have to go searching for yourself.
